If you encounter a troublesome player who is breaking our Terms of Service in the in-game chat, you can simply report this user but you can also at any time mute users you would rather not see in chat. The muted user will not know you have muted them. You can mute users either directly in the game or on the website.
In-Game
While in game, go to the Social tab and select the Player List, then you will need to search for the user you would like to mute.
You will find the mute button as an icon of a green microphone, click on this and you will no longer see the player's messages in chat or hear them over voice-chat. Once muted, the icon will turn red. To unmute them, select this button again and it will become green once more allowing you to see what they type in chat. |
Website
First you must log in to your Alderon Games account. Once logged in, click on your username at the top right to access your settings. Then head over to the Mutes tab.
In the Mutes tab you can then write or paste the Alderon Games ID of the user you wish to mute. Once you have written a full AGID the Mute User button will appear below allowing you to click on it to confirm the AGID of the user is correct. |
If the user displayed is the user you would like to mute you can then press the green Mute button to confirm the action. The user will then be listed in your Mutes and can be removed by pressing the red X if you change your mind. |
