If you are experiencing issues with the Android version of Path of Titans then we will help and explain some of the problems you have encountered.
Why is Path of Titans lagging and crashing on my device?
Due to Path of Titans still being in development there will still be optimizations made to the game as development continues. We do not yet have a minimum hardware requirements list for the game but we highly recommend you check out our Minimum Specifications and Incompatible Devices article on the subject. The absolute minimum requirement for Path of Titans to run on your mobile device is that your device must support the Vulkan API. If your mobile device does not support Vulkan, then Path of Titans will not run on your phone.
As there are over 22,000 different Android phones, we cannot guarantee which ones will be compatible or more supported, but Path of Titans will only run well on phones that are around $450 - $1000+ USD.
Budget phones that cost roughly $400 USD or less will typically be missing key components to run Path of Titans, such as the Vulkan API, a high end graphics/central processing unit, or enough RAM. If you are using a budget phone that costs $400 USD or less, even if it was made this year, it will run into performance issues which will result in severe frame rate issues and your app may crash much more frequently.
Please read our Game Performance Problems article here and follow some of suggestions listed to help improve the performance of your game if you have not already.
Why does Path of Titans say my device is incompatible?
If you have received an error that says your Android mobile device is incompatible when downloading the Path of Titans app, then unfortunately your device either lacks the Vulkan API to run Path of Titans, or is lacking the hardware needed to run the App on your device. The only way to play Path of Titans will be to upgrade your mobile device or play on a different platform that is able to run Path of Titans.
If you are thinking of upgrading your device to play Path of Titans then we suggest waiting for us to release our minimum hardware requirements list in the future. We have not released a list yet as Path of Titans is in development and this list may change in the future if we were to release it now.
